This connector allows you to continuously import Qualys scan and asset data into your Delve application in order to leverage DelveAI contextual prioritization
To start the installation, login to your instance and navigate to the Connectors settings menu.
Then click on the + icon on the top right to add a new connector. Select the External Scanner: Qualys and Create New API Client. Submitting the form will open the installation wizard in a new window.
Your browser might ask you to allow pop-ups from the originating window.
From the wizard, follow the steps to complete the installation.
The Delve API Access step will require you to enter your instance app URL and a Public API client ID and Client Secret if not already populated for you. In order to create one, you can do so by following this guide.
You will be asked to log into Delve to authorize your Public API client to make requests on your behalf during the installation process.
The authorization duration can be very short since this is only used for installation purposes.
Make sure to select Full access from the Authorization level dropdown. Submitting the form should redirect you back to the installation wizard and proceed with the next step.
The Qualys API access requires to fill the credentials given by Qualys.
It will request and store the access token to allow the connectors the retrieve the data. The access token will be stored through a Delve Credentials and visible in the Settings / Credentials view.
The Configuration step requires to select a team in which the assets are going to be created, enter an IP Range, a Tag and Frequency to retrieve the Qualys data.
After submitting the form, we will create all these for you.
If everything was created properly, you should see the confirmation step display with the following message.
You can close this page and go back to the Delve tab to see your new connector.
It is important to save the Client ID/Client Secret in a password manager on your end should you want to use later for other purposes.
